The Grandstream GXV3140 belongs to a new generation of IP phones that comes equipped with rich multimedia capabilities. The multimedia capability of the Grandstream GXV3140 is made up of 2 key components: a 4.3” digital TFT colour LCD screen that is able to display crystal clear images at 480 x 272 resolutions; and a tiltable 1.3M pixel CMOS camera with private shutter, for capturing clear images of the person communicating. Together with HD wideband voice quality, users can make video calls to other video call equipped phones. The phone itself can be used as a speakerphone that is capable of high fidelity, full duplex audio. Echo cancellation is simply excellent, along with an effective noise suppressor that keeps unwanted background noises at bay

Another beauty with the Grandstream GXV3140 is the built in web browser. In it, users are able to access different sites like Youtube and Yahoo Flickr. It also comes with RSS feeds that keep users informed of the news, stocks and weather. Users can also enjoy playing streaming music and video online or simply listen to internet radio. The Grandstream GXV3140 comes fully integrated with external connectivity options. It has 2 switched Ethernet ports for 10M and 100M connectivity over the network.
