One of the nice features of the Grandstream GXP2000 is its open standards compatibility. This makes it work seamlessly on different platforms and other SIP based equipment. Protocols supported include DHCP, DNS, ICMP, HTTP, TCP, IP, UDP, TFTP, NTP, PPPoE, to name a few. Network connectivity is made possible through two switched Ethernet ports. These ports have built in auto detect polarity, which means it can handle straight through or cross over connections accordingly

The Grandstream GXP2000 phone has a graphical LCD for displaying 8 lines of information at 22 characters per line. It can support multiple languages like English, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and others, giving it a universal appeal. It also has multi line support for up to 11 lines presence. A built in XML support can be used to create and maintain customised services for maximised productivity performance

The Grandstream GXP2000 is a combination of the traditional phone plus new modern functionality. Basic features like call waiting, call on hold, call forwarding, caller ID, mute and call transfer are fully supported. Other useful features that can make life easier are intercom, shared call appearances, line extensions, 3 way conferencing and off hook dial. For a complete hands free communication experience, it also comes with a speakerphone mode. The voice quality is simply superb, thanks for advanced digital signal processing.
